Writing and social media work:

New York Magazine / Vulture

My focus at Vulture for over 1.5 years has largely been growing our presence on Vulture's Instagram, as well as sustaining and increasing traffic for our new NYMag subscription service through Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

I program all tweets, posts, and IG stories for all our Vulture accounts, and our companion comedy coverage on our Splitsider accounts. Some social programming for Vulture's news and features that I've done is below:

Hustlers First Look: J. Lo Is a Gloriously Scammy Stripper (Twitter)

Veep Is Over. Is America Next? (Twitter)

The First Great Movie of the Trump Era (IG Story)

Comedians Share the Jokes They Most Regret (Twitter)

Randall Park's Small-Town L.A. (Twitter)

The Big, Queer Universe of Gregg Araki (Twitter)

17 Comedians Share the Lessons They Learned the Hard Way (Twitter)

One Book One New York event (IG Story)

I also sometimes write articles for Vulture and regularly contribute to our weekly Songs of the Week guide to fuel my music obsession.

I helped ideate the online rollout of our huge song copyright package and TV Issue / Pride & Queer package, to make the months of research for the print package seamlessly transition online. Here are some posts and IG stories that contributed to these packages:

Why Ariana Grande's '7 Rings' Was Accused of Copying 3 Times (Twitter)

Welcome to the Age of Pop 'Plagiarism' (Twitter)

Welcome to the Age of Pop 'Plagiarism' (IG Story)

The Most Powerful Drag Queens in America (IG Story)

Vulture’s awards and festival studios are legendary. I produce in-real time IG stories for these events, as well distribute the photos and videos from our studios to social channels.

Tribeca Film Festival

Sundance Film Festival

Tony Awards / Nominations

NY Comic-Con

Emmys studio

Vulture Festival

Vulture's IG also has IG takeovers and BTS IG stories that we coordinate and schedule with talent.

Daily Beast
At the Daily Beast, I wrote trending and breaking news articles and worked swing shifts during weekends and nights to accommodate our team's 24-7 political news coverage. My first weekend of work was Charlottesville:

How A White Power Rally in Charlottesville Turned Deadly

Cadet Run Out of West Point After Accusing Army’s Star Quarterback of Rape

Russia Activated Twitter Sleeper Cells for 2016 Election Day Blitz

Business Insider
At Business Insider, I was embedded in the Tech Insider (RIP) video team, where my love for tech news and online culture flourished. I regularly pitched videos for video producers that ended up on the site and social:
